The torch has been passed and the mission continues to grow. Students Helping Students began as a simple but powerful idea students helping their peers access a Catholic education. Founded by Jacob Dartez alongside Jason Haberstroh, GianLuca Deneroff, Jack Suryan, and Hayden Barnes, the initiative created FACE named scholarships that opened doors for both elementary and high school students.
Today, that legacy lives on through a new generation of student leaders. Valentina and Massimo Deneroff have stepped forward to carry the mission into the future, joined by Avery Estabrook, L. Bender, Luc Gutmann, and Tyler Lewis. Inspired by those who came before them and grounded in their shared faith and belief in the value of Catholic education, these students are committed to continuing and expanding the impact of Students Helping Students.
They understand that Catholic education is about more than academics. It shapes character, strengthens faith, and builds a sense of community and responsibility to others. With fresh energy and bold goals, this new team is determined to raise more funds, support more scholars, and open even more doors for students who dream of a Catholic education.
This is students investing in students passing hope forward one scholarship at a time.
